🎨 4-Day Florence Itinerary
The birthplace of the Renaissance
Your 4-Day Florence Plan
Four days in Florence adds a day trip into the Chianti wine hills — one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe — while giving you unhurried time at the major sights.
Day 1
Duomo, Campanile, Baptistery
Dome climb at the Duomo, Campanile (Giotto's bell tower) for a different view, Ghiberti's Baptistery doors. Evening in Piazza della Signoria.
Day 2
Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio
Full morning at the Uffizi — Botticelli, Leonardo, Raphael. Ponte Vecchio walk, Oltrarno lunch and neighbourhood wander.
Day 3
Accademia (David) and Boboli Gardens
David at the Accademia in the morning. Afternoon at the Boboli Gardens behind Palazzo Pitti — formal Medici gardens with Renaissance fountains and views over the Florentine hills.
Day 4
Chianti Wine Country Day Trip
Rent a car or join a guided wine tour through the Chianti Classico zone between Florence and Siena. Greve in Chianti, Panzano, and Radda are beautiful hilltop villages with cellar doors. The landscape of cypress trees and rolling vineyards is as memorable as any painting in the Uffizi.
