Queens: Flushing and Astoria
Dim sum breakfast in Flushing (the best outside Asia), afternoon in Astoria for Greek food and the Museum of the Moving Image. One of the best-value food days in the city.
Day 9
The Bronx: Zoo and Little Italy
The Bronx Zoo is one of the world's best — allow 4 hours. Lunch in the Bronx Little Italy on Arthur Avenue (more authentic than the Manhattan version). Evening in Williamsburg.
Day 10
Staten Island Ferry and Farewell
Take the free Staten Island Ferry for harbour views, walk back through the Financial District. Last dinner in the East Village or Lower East Side — a neighbourhood that rewards multiple visits.
