🌆 3-Day Dubai Itinerary
Desert, skyscrapers, and luxury
Your 3-Day Dubai Plan
Three days in Dubai is enough to see the spectacular modern skyline, the historic old town, and get out into the desert — the perfect introduction to a city of contrasts. Stay Downtown Dubai to keep everything within easy reach.
Day 1
Burj Khalifa and Downtown
Start with the Dubai Mall to get your bearings — it is absurdly large but the aquarium and ice rink are genuinely impressive. Book the Burj Khalifa observation deck for late afternoon, then stay for the Dubai Fountain show at sunset, which runs every 30 minutes on the Burj Lake and is completely free to watch from the waterfront.
Day 2
Palm Jumeirah and the Beach
Take the monorail across to Palm Jumeirah and walk the boardwalk of the Atlantis resort. JBR Beach (Jumeirah Beach Residence) has free beach access, beach clubs, and an outdoor promenade lined with restaurants. Catch the Ain Dubai observation wheel on Bluewaters Island at sunset.
Day 3
Old Dubai and Desert Safari
Morning in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood — the old wind-tower architecture and the Dubai Museum are a striking contrast to the glass towers. Cross Dubai Creek by abra (wooden water taxi) to the Spice Souk and Gold Souk. Afternoon: join a desert safari for dune bashing, camel riding, and a traditional camp dinner under the stars.
